Using Miqra

Miqra is an independent app run by its developer, based in Japan. By using the app you agree to these terms. Miqra is free, and it has no accounts. You may use it for your own reading, listening and learning.

The Quran text, translations and audio

Miqra comes from named sources, credited in the app under More → Help & support → Content sources & credits. That content belongs to its sources and rights holders. These terms give you no right to copy it out of the app or redistribute it. Some features depend on those sources and may change or stop if a source changes its terms or a rights holder asks for removal.

We work to show the Quran accurately. If you find a mistake in the text, please tell us at support@getmiqra.com.

Prayer times

Prayer times are calculated from your location and the method you choose. They may differ from your local mosque or authority, so please check them locally when accuracy matters. Reminders depend on your phone’s settings and may not always arrive.

Tajweed and learning

Tajweed colours, explanations and word-by-word help are learning aids. They do not replace a qualified teacher, and they are not religious rulings.

Fair use of the service

Please do not extract the app’s keys or content, overload its servers, or use them outside the app. We may limit or block use that does.

Your data

Our privacy policy explains what stays on your phone and what leaves it. Your notes and progress are stored only on your device, so they can be lost if you lose your phone or delete the app.

No warranty

Miqra is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it.

Rights holders

If you hold rights in content shown in Miqra and have a concern, write to support@getmiqra.com with the content and your rights. We will review it promptly and remove the content where appropriate.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the effective date when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
